Techstars Tokyo differs from its sibling programmes in both the cheque and the instrument: $120,000, made up of $100,000 through an uncapped MFN SAFE or a J-KISS plus $20,000 via a post-money Convertible Equity Agreement, for 5% of the company in common stock.
