BioChem Start is Poznanski Park Naukowo-Technologiczny's own programme for holders of a doctorate in chemistry or biotechnology developing an innovative idea of their own choosing. Selection runs in two stages, after which the participant is employed by the park's parent foundation and incubated for up to 12 months, with financing of up to 200 000 zl and access to the park's laboratories. Rather than taking shares, the rulebook governs rights to the idea, letting the participant buy back the foundation's share of the intellectual property.
