Activate is iAccelerate's pre-accelerator, run at the University of Wollongong's Innovation Campus facility in North Wollongong with a minimum of two cohorts a year. It runs for three months and mixes facilitator-led workshops with self-paced online modules, co-working space and mentoring. Rather than investing, it charges a programme fee of $990 inc GST covering up to three founders, with scholarships available; no equity is taken or published, and the programme is open to startups from any industry.
