Basecamp is a three-week hybrid sprint — one week in person in Ghent plus two part-time weeks online — for biotech and climate teams. No cheque is guaranteed by the programme itself: participants get a chance to pitch the investment committee for EUR 350,000 in early-stage funding, described as EUR 250,000 cash plus EUR 100,000 in-kind, which is an opportunity rather than a committed amount per team. No equity stake is published for either the programme or that investment.
