About accelerator.directory

accelerator.directory is an index of startup accelerator programmes and the terms they publish: how much they invest, what equity they take, how long they run and how to apply.

What is this index?

It is one table of accelerator programmes around the world, which you can filter by country, city, sector and terms, and sort by cheque size, equity or duration. Each programme also has its own page listing every source.

Where do the figures come from?

Every figure comes from a page published by the programme or its parent organisation. Each record lists those pages and the date they were read. Third-party directories are used only to find programme names, never as a source for terms.

When a programme does not publish a figure, the index says “not disclosed”. It never estimates one or copies it from a sister programme.

How is it kept up to date?

Every cited source page is checked for changes each week. A changed page is re-read, and the record is updated only after a person reviews the change. Each record shows the date it was last verified.

How is it paid for?

Reading the table is free, and so is the JSON API for the public fields. The project is paid for by a full dataset export and an API key that adds contact addresses and notes. No programme can pay to change its figures or its position in the table.

How do I report an error or add a programme?

Use the submit form for a programme that is missing. For a figure that is wrong or out of date, email hello@accelerator.directory with the page that shows the correct value.
